Warner Communications is proud to work with long-standing client Maguire Associates to elevate the firm’s profile and create meaningful relationships with the media. Based in Concord, MA, Maguire Associates is a research-based consulting firm that exclusively serves educational clients – close to 400 of them – from colleges and universities to independent and public schools, consortia and government organizations focused on education. As a result of Warner’s work, journalists have come to rely on commentary and research about the world of higher education from their experts.
In early spring 2009, Maguire Associates surveyed nearly 23,000 high school seniors, and nearly 5,000 parents of seniors nationwide, to determine the influence of the economy on their applications for college admission and financial aid. Warner Communications was on board to promote the results of the Maguire Associates 2009 National Student Survey, which outlined how today’s unprecedented economic challenges are affecting students’ (and families’) college choices, financing plans, and pricing/value perceptions, with the high-level business media and top higher education trade outlets. As a result of Warner’s efforts, the initial survey findings have been covered in The Chronicle of Higher Education, Dow Jones Marketwatch, Yahoo!Finance, AOL Money, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, CNBC, UPI, USA Today, BusinessWeek.com and firm’s chairman Jack Maguire also appeared on a live broadcast segment on “Good Morning Live” on New England Cable News
